Your Mission

The Head of Supply chain & Procurement is accountable to provide technical, financial and sustainable development of the procurement and supply chain organization and strategy to support ongoing programs as new business developments/programs.

The jobholder will share expertise as authoritative advice to key internal & externa stakeholders on all aspects of Supply Chain & Procurement strategy as providing key performance indicators to track the procurement/supply chain performance & conformity.

The jobholder has procurement authority for the company portfolio and is responsible for On Time On Quality and On Cost (OTOQOC) of all hardware including general procurement for non-flight hardware for US & EU programs.

The jobholder will responsible for marshalling on site resources at supplier premises should it be necessary.

Your Tasks

  • Develop and implement overarching policies, procedures, systems, structures and frameworks for all Supply Chain & Procurement related activities to deliver best practices Supply Chain & Procurement and contract management solutions. 
  • Provide expert, authoritative advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of procurement strategy and practices to inform business planning and action, encourage innovative approaches and enhance value through efficient long and short term procurement/supply chain deals and road maps as continuous improvement.
  • Lead strategic sourcing and improvement planning and their implementation in consultation with key stakeholders and suppliers. The job holder will be a key contributor to the make or buy process
  • Lead high level suppliers/partners negotiations with stakeholders 
  • Establish and lead an organization wide Supply Chain/Procurement governance and risk management framework to monitor, manage and drive performance, ensure compliance with relevant legislative and policy, manage risks and realize business opportunities.
  •  Establish and ensure maintenance of key performance indicators and qualitative and quantitative metrics to capture, report the benefit and performance of all procurement activities.
  • The jobholder is the  interface to Airbus US Supply chain, Operations & US Program (FAL/ Productions)  organizations
  • Align the supply chain & procurement strategies awith the Operations, Engineering, Quality and Finance teams to ensure seamless and timely hardware delivery  and be accountable to also ensure that suppliers perform in accordance to price and technical requirements
  • Partnering with Airbus US supply chain & procurement to optimize costs, quantities & schedules equipments deliveries.
  • Identification and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities and in the protection of the Company’s intellectual property assets in collaboration with Legal
  • Interface with ADS SAS Supply chain / Procurement organization to ensure an optimized and coordinated way of working.
